Novel heterocyclic derivatives of the general formula: <IMAGE> in which X denotes <IMAGE>, <IMAGE> or CO2R' in which R' denotes C1-6-alkyl, C3-7-cycloalkyl or C1-3- alkoxymethyl, and -A- denotes -(CH2)n-Y-(CH2)m-, in which n and m are 0 or 1 and -Y- denotes -O-, -S-, -CH2- or -NR"-, where R" denotes hydrogen or C1-6-alkyl. The compounds can be used in psychopharmaceutical preparations as anticonvulsants, anxiolytics, hypnotic agents and nootropic agents and as anthelmintics, ectoparasiticidal agents and endoparasiticidal agents, insecticides and acaricides for treating humans and animals.
