PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of a distance for a flying object or the like on a control signal alone, by extracting distance information from specified signal components of both signals command signal as control signal for a flying object or the like and a telemetry signal. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is made up of a ground signal controller A and a flying object side controller B and both are connected by a command radio wave transmitted to the unit B from the unit A and by a telemetry ratio wave transmitted to the unit A from the unit B. The unit A wirelessly transmits a command signal to a flying object or the like and wirelessly receives the telemetry signal corresponding to the command signal. By repeating the operation, the flying object is remotely controlled. Here, the unit A measures the distance of the flying object or the like by a distance measuring means on the basis of a specified signal component, for example, time difference, in the command signal and the telemetry signal. Then, the command signal and the telemetry signal consist of PCM signal and a frame signal of the PCM signal is extracted to determine a time difference therebetween.
