The present invention provides an electric power steering device which can be reduced in size and weight and can be more easily assembled, and for which the occurrence of electrical connection faults in a circuit substrate caused by insertion and removal of connectors can be reduced. In this electric power steering device a circuit substrate and an intermediate member are aligned in the axial direction of a rotary shaft, and connectors are formed integrally with the intermediate member and arranged so as to protrude through a cutout in a housing. A cylindrical part of a motor case, a frame, or a housing is configured so as to receive stress in the axial direction of the rotary shaft acting on the connectors when the connectors are inserted and removed.
