PURPOSE:To make levelling of the foundation unnecessary, by enabling the height of the groundsill to be adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A bolt 3 is suspended from a bottom surface of a bearing plate 2 supporting a groundsill 11 and the point thereof is inserted into a vertical hole 8 in a foundation 1. The bolt 3 is made to move freely in the vertical direction by turning a nut 4. By this arrangement, the height of the groundsill 11 on the bearing plate 2 can be easily adjusted by turning the nut 4 attaining extremely high horizontal accuracy of the groundsill 11, by which the dimensional accuracy of overall building is enhanced and the workability can be remarkably improved.
