PURPOSE:To effectively restrain chain noise by applying elastic force to a link pin in the axial direction to press link plates to each other to restrain the amplitude of elastic vibration sound due to stringed vibration of the chain. CONSTITUTION:Link plates 1, 2 are formed like a cocoon by a metallic plate, and two piercing holes are bored therein in the longitudinal direction. A wave spring 7 as an elastic body is formed substantially like the link plates 1, 2, and two piercing holes conformable to two holes of the link plates 1, 2 are bored therein. Plural link plates 1, 2 are disposed with the wave spring 7 positioned at the center, and link pins 8 are pierced through the conformable holes to be supported by holders 9. The respective link plates 12 are pressed to each other without a gap by the wave spring 7.
