PURPOSE:To form a coated resin film having uniform film thickness on a columnar body by passing the columnar body between a coating roller and a semilunar recess-shaped guide which has an inside diameter larger than the diameter of the roller and is concentric with it while the columnar body is rotated by touching the surface thereof to both the outside periphery of the roller and the inside surface of the guide. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder (columnar or cylindrical) body (a bolt, a screw and a vis, etc.) is passed between a roller for coating synthetic resin and a semilunar recess-shaped guide which has an inside diameter larger than the diameter of the roller and is concentric with it while rotating in the direction opposite to the roller by touching the surface thereof to both the outside periphery of the roller and the inside surface of the guide in accordance with the rotation of the roller. As a result, a coated synthetic resin film having uniform film thickness can completely be formed on the surface of the body by the roller.
