PURPOSE:To reduce remarkably the number of processes required for the formation of a circuit diagram by patterning and storing electric symbols and recording the patterned electric symbols based on the inputs of pattern names. CONSTITUTION:Patterned reference electric symbols are registered in a file 13. Unique pattern names are assigned to these patterns and each pattern is individually accessed by inputting the corresponding pattern name from a keyboard 11 and displayed on the screen of a graphic display 12. Thus, the circuit diagram can be formed by displaying various electric symbols on the screen. The formed circuit diagram is stored in the file 13 under control by a processor 15 and printed out on paper by a printer 14. Consequently, the man-hour required for the formation of the circuit diagram can be remarkably reduced.
