PURPOSE:To prevent chattering from being generated in the PWM wave output by providing an adder means adding a proportional output of a relaxation oscillator to a control signal generating means. CONSTITUTION:The proportional output outputted from the relaxation oscillator 18 via a proportional means 19 is added to an input terminal of a reference power supply of an error amplifier 9 by an adder means 17 to obtain an output waveform 20 of an amplifier 9. The waveform proportional to the inverted output waveform 13 of the oscillator 18 is inputted to a comparison means 10 to increase the hysteresis width of the means 10 equivalently thereby preventing the PWM wave output chattering from being caused.
