PURPOSE:To reduce cogging torque generated due to the magnetic ununiformity of winding grooves and an armature core, by applying the bevelling of specified dimension to C-type field magnets organizing a rotor. CONSTITUTION:A rotor is provided with a quantity P of C type field magnets 1 fitted on the circumference at equal angle intervals. A stator 3 consists of a quantity (n) of winding grooves 4, and an armature core with magnetic poles formed between the winding grooves 4. When among boundary sections at the adjacent positions in a quantity P of the C type field magnets 1, on each end surface of the magnets 1 with a quantity P/2 of the boundary sections confronted with each other every other boundary section, the radius of the rotor is set to be ra, and when the least common multiple between the quantity P of the magnets 1 and the quantity of the winding grooves 4 is set to be G(P, n), then the beveling 1a of the dimension of piXPXra/2XG(P, n) is applied.
