PURPOSE:To secure such a valve that is high in strength and quality, by forming the inside of a valve body into a lightening hollow part at the time of forming a hollow type poppet valve, installing a thread in an inlet cover of the hollow part, and locking it in a wat of being screwed in the irregular pitch thread at the inlet of the hollow part. CONSTITUTION:Inside a valve body 12, there is provided with the hollow part 13 formed and installed by means of drilling and spot-facing, and a thread 12c is cut in an opening of the mushroom part 12a. This thread should be set to an irregular pitch. A cover 11 is screwed in this tapped hole. A thread of the cover 11 is set to a regular pitch, and it serves as powerful sticking action at the time of the screwing.
