PURPOSE:To maintain the discharge pressure of a compressor at a prescribed value regardless of the load by providing a control system which operates the variable nozzle at a turbine inlet and a control system which operates the atmospheric releasing valve at a compressor outlet. CONSTITUTION:The variable nozzle 2c at the inlet of a turbine 2a is operated by the first controller 6. The atmospheric release regulating valve 9 at the outlet of a compressor 2b is operated by the second controller 10. The discharge pressures of the compressor are detected by a detector 5, and they are fed back to the first controller 6 and the second controller 10. The pressure setting value of the second controller 10 is made to some extent higher than that of the first controller 6. thus, the discharge pressure of the compressor can be maintained at a prescribed value regardless of the load.
