PURPOSE:To provide an oven range with a function of toaster by a method wherein the toaster case is integrally attached to a side part of the oven range and a change-over switch between a high voltage circuit for the oven range and a heater is provided. CONSTITUTION:A timer 21 is set under a condition in which a door for an oven range is closed, a start button is depressed and then a cooking is performed. In case that a change-over switch 22 is contacted with a high voltage circuit 25, a power supply 26 is supplied to the high voltage circuit, a magnetron is operated to act as an over range. In case that the change-over switch 22 is changed over to a heater 17, a heater 17, a heater 17 with a longitudinal toaster case 5 opened at a side part of the case is heated to burn both surfaces of a food 19. When a desired time has elapsed and a timer 21 is turned OFF, a heating of the heater is terminated and at the same time an electromagnet 17 is turned ON to disengage a hook 11, thereby a lever 8 is pushed forward by energized force of a spring 18 to open a cap 10. In this way, a high reliability of operation is assured and a bread can be baked in an oven range.
