PURPOSE:To eliminate the falling of abrasive grains at a abrasive layer so as to perform betterment of abrasive work by bonding the abrasive grains with a binder component hardened perfectly by application of radioactive ray. CONSTITUTION:An abrasive layer is formed on a substrate for abrasive material by application of a radioactive ray irradiation processing on a coating layer by a painting work liquid for abrasive layer formation containing acrylate compound as a binder component. In this case, the mean molecular weight of urethane acrylate compound is assumed as 1,000 to 2,000. The number of metaacryloil radial is made not less than 3 ea in one molecule and at the same time, this metacryloyl radial is located at both rear ends of main chain and the end of a side chain whose number mean molecular weight from the connecting point to the end is not less than 500.
