PURPOSE:To prevent leakage effectively in operation for obtaining high efficiency so as to improve reliability by providing a groove, into which a minor adjustment element is pressed, thereby providing a stepped section to the halfway of the depth of the groove. CONSTITUTION:A compression chamber P comprises a stationary scroll 1 meshed with a rocking scroll 2 each other. A minor adjustment element 6 is pressed into the compression chamber in such a way that a part of both sides of the element adheres closely to the inner side of a groove 5 completely to the longer direction of scrolls. A step 5e is provided on the halfway of the depth within the groove 5 for forming a two stepped structure. This constitution can provide a scroll hydraulic machine provided with both a clearance minor adjustment function for preventing gas from leaking and with high reliability.
