PURPOSE:To make a headrest being supported on a shoe easily tiltable frontward, by letting the shoe go up and down by a nut member to be screwed in a screw rod with its rotation, and guiding the shoe along a guide. CONSTITUTION:When a headrest 1 is tilted frontward, turning moment of an electric motor 28 is transmitted to a gearbox 27 via a cable 29, rotating a screw rod 26. With this rotation, a nut member 19 is made to go up, thereby making a shoe 13 go upward along a guide rail 7 via a rod 17 solidly together with this nut member 19. After an upper edge of this shoe 13 hits a cam surface 11 of a cam member 12, a sense of the shoe 13 is altered to go along the cam surface 11. And, in the state that the rod 17 piercing through the shoe 13 hits an upper end of a long hole 8 of the guide rail 7, the head-rest 1 locked to a stay 2 is made so as to come into a state of being tilted frontward.
