PURPOSE:To obtain the titled granule having good handleability without irritancy to the tip of the tongue, by dissolving ibuprofen which is an anti- inflammatory agent with an acrylic acid based resin in an aliphatic lower alcohol, mixing the resultant solution with water, stirring the mixture and carrying out the granulating and coating at the same time. CONSTITUTION:Ibuprofen expressed by formula I and an acrylic acid based resin, e.g. a compound expressed by formula II or III, together are dissolved in an aliphatic lower alcohol, preferably ethanol. The compound expressed by formula II or III has preferably 1:1-2 molar ratio of the acid to the ester. The amount of the resin to be used is 7-50wt% based on the compound expressed by formula I. The solution is then mixed and stirred with water solvent in an amount of >=1,000wt% based on the alcohol to deposit the aimed granular ibuprofen. In the process, the presence of a surfactant further improves the granulating and coating. Thereby, the granulating and coating can be carried out by a simple technique at the same time.
