摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve the crystal orientability of a vertically magnetized film consisting of a Co alloy having the axis of easy magnetization at the C axis by providing a zirconium layer of which the surface having no columnar structure or fiber structure is oxidized within the range of a specific thickness and forming the vertically magnetized film consisting of the Co alloy thereon. CONSTITUTION:The C axis of closed-packed hexagonal structure can be thoroughly highly oriented when the surface of the preferentially amorphous Zr- contg. amorphous alloy film 3 having no columnar structure or fiber structure and formed on a glass substrate 4 is oxidized, even if a thin Co-Cr alloy film 1 formed thereon is thin. However, the effect as the orientation control layer of the oxide layer is not remarkably high if the oxide layer 2 on the surface of the Zr-contg. amorphous alloy film 3 is <2nm. On the other hand, there is no additional improvement of the crystal orientability even if the thickness is made larger than 5nm.
