PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and manhour for assembling and reduce cost by directly bringing a secondary side high voltage terminal of an ignition coil made of a spring material, into pressure contact with a cap conductor through its spring force. CONSTITUTION:A secondary side high voltage of an ignition coil 2 is fed from the contact piece 3a of a terminal 3 to a distributing electrode 10 via a cap conductor 5, a central electrode 6, a coil spring 11, and a carbon contact piece 12 and, accompanying the rotation of a shaft 8, distributed to a side electrode 7 opposite to the distributing electrode 10. Since the contact piece 3a of the secondary side high voltage terminal 3 is directly brought into pressure contact with the cap conductor 5 through its spring force, any dispersion in the dimension of parts, in dimension of assembling, etc., or displacement due to shifting on installing an internal-combustion engine, and the like, can be absorbed by the spring force of the contact piece 3a, always stably keeping a contacting condition between the secondary side high voltage terminal 3 and the cap conductor 5.
