PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness of a residential space by reducing the rotational speed of a variable blower and changing a downward concentrated discharge to a downward branched discharge when a discharge temperature becomes equal to a set temperature. CONSTITUTION:When a temperature detected by a thermistor is less than a set temperature, a variable blower is set to a high rotational speed, and motors 3, 9a and 9b are rotated to direct a up-and-down-deflection vane 1 to a downward position, a left-hand deflection vane 5a to the right side, and a right-hand deflection vane 5b to the left side. Thus, discharge air is concentrated downward. When the temperature detected by the thermistor becomes higher than the set temperature, a variable blower is set at a low rotational speed, the motors 8a and 9b are driven, the left-hand deflection vane 5a is directed toward the left side, and the right-hand deflection vane 5b to the right side. Thus, discharge air is branched downward, and when the discharge temperature is increased the warm air flow is prevented from directly striking one's body.
