PURPOSE:To connect an input device such as a mouse, etc. to an information processor by setting a framing error as a switching request of a baud rate of a receiving part, and switching dynamically a baud rate of an interface part of the information processor. CONSTITUTION:In a state that a power source is turned on, a microprocessor IC6 and a baud rate setting circuit IC3 and an interface receiving part IC4 are set to a baud rate (for instance 1200BPS) of a keyboard side. In such a state, an information processor 1 and a keyboard device 2 are in a state that the consistency is taken electrically, there is no hindrance for sending and receiving the information between both of them. Subsequently, when an input device 3 (mouse) is operated, a transfer signal sent to the information processor from the mouse 3 is received by a parallel input side of a keyboard device 2. In such a case, in the microprocessor IC6, an interruption is applied by a receiving strobe signal SC1, and the microprocessor IC6 detects a fact that information from the mouse 3 is transferred.
