PURPOSE:To secure a close attachment state of a cartridge and to prevent the leakage of the air even through the cartridge is set into a magnetic tape device with tilt or eccentricity, by providing a cartridge guide member where a cartridge holding member is unified with a member which feeds the air to the cartridge. CONSTITUTION:An air hole 9 is formed at a part of a cartridge guide main body 7 together with a tank part 10 which is opened to the inside of the main body 7 and stores the air. A ring-shaped projection part 8 is formed around the opening part of the tank 10. The root part of the part 8 is supported by a thin member 11 and has the elastic power so that the part 8 always has has a close contact with the arc surface of a cartridge 3. The main body 7 and the part 8 are unified with each other via an elastic matter of a rubber material, etc. Even if the cartridge 3 is attached with a shift caused in the radius direction or the axial direction, this shift position amount is absorbed by the part 8 with the displacement of the part 8 produced at the part of the member 11.
