PURPOSE:To steadily and rapidly link a reader tape with a magnetic tape by directing the blowoff direction of air to the transfer direction of an adhesive tape, jetting air pressure from an air nozzle, correcting the direction of the cut end of the adhesive tape in a straight line shape with an air flow. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive tape 28 protruded from an absorption board 31 is lowered a little by its deadweight, but the direction of the tape is corrected by the air flow injected from the air nozzle in the transfer direction of the adhesive tape 28. A pressing member 29 which transfers the adhesive tape 28 comes down on the upper surface of the adhesive tape 28, whose direction is corrected, and absorbs the upper surface of the adhesive tape 28. At such a state, a cutter 32 is raised, and the tip of the adhesive tape 28 is cut in a regulated length, and a cut adhesive tape 28 is transferred to and linked at a part confronting a reader tape 2 with the magnetic tape. In such a way, a faulty absorption in the adhesive tape 28 is reduced extremely, and the reader tape and the magnetic tape can be linked steadily with the adhesive tape.
