PURPOSE:To improve lubricity and releasability of the surface of an electrophotographic sensitive body by incorporating a specified silicone type polymer and a polycarbonate resin in the electrophotographic sensitive body composed of a photosensitive layer and a nonphotosensitive surface layer. CONSTITUTION:A condensed product of a modified silicone is obtained by reacting the silicone of formula I and/or II with the compound of formula III. In formulae I, II, and III, each of R1-R7 is alkyl or aryl; (n) is an average polymerization degree; each of R8-R10 is H, halogen, alkyl, or aryl; R11 is alkyl or aryl; X is halogen or alkoxy; and (m) is an integer of 1-3. This modified silicone is reacted with a polymerizable functional compound, such as methyl methacrylate, to produce a silicone type comb-shaped graft polymer (SP), and this SP and the polycarbonate type resin are incorporated in the nonphotosensitive surface layer to obtain the electrophotographic sensitive body, thus permitting its cleanability and durabiliby to be improved.
