PURPOSE:To permit a clear display and prevent adverse effect to a confronting vehicle, by mounting a display unit on a glove compartment of a vehicle, mounting a louver above the display unit, and covering a windshield glass with a display film. CONSTITUTION:A display unit 13 is mounted on a glove compartment 11 of a vehicle with its display surface upwardly and confronting a windshield glass 12. A louver 14 is mounted above the display unit 13 and the inside surface of the windshield glass 12 is covered with a display film 15. With such an arrangement, when a speed '188', for example, is displayed on the display unit 13, the display is shown on the film 15 on the inside of the windshield glass 12 as '188' normally. Since the display surface of the display unit 13 is shut off by the louver 14 at the time, a driver is not worried about the light emitted from the display unit 13. In addition, the display can be shown on the film 15 clearly.
