PURPOSE:To obtain an instrument for measuring components in liquid with which measured values of good accuracy are stably obtd. by circulating a liquid to be measured to a flow passage provided with a sensor by means of an impeller. CONSTITUTION:A buffer soln. is put into a cell 1 and a sample such as blood is added thereto to prepare the liquid 2 to be measured. The top ends of an instrument body 10, i.e., a suction port 12 and a discharge port 13 are immersed into the liquid 2 to be measured. The impeller 14 rotates when a motor 16 is driven. The liquid 2 is then sucked up from the port 12 and returns from the discharge port into the cell 1 after flowing through the flow passage 11. The sensor consisting of an electrode 17a for detecting the material to be measured fixed with enzyme, a counter electrode 17b, an electrode 17c for compensating inhibiting materials is provided to the inside wall surface near the discharge port 13 of the flow passage 11.
