PURPOSE:To achieve a uniform and perfect impregnation of treatment liquid by sucking the treatment liquid in the vacuum pressurizing vessel under a reduced pressure through a piece of wood of the same quality as the timber to be treated contained in the monitor vessel and also by pressurizing and injecting the treatment liquid into the vacuum pressurizing vessel. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum pressurizing vessel (a) containing the timber 1 to be treated is vacuum sucked, and a treatment liquid is pressurized and injected from the injection tube 10 while water and air are sucked in. The impregnation of treatment liquid is carried out by the bonding water remaining in the non-crystalline area of the timber 1 to be treated, the free water remaining in the space and the treatment liquid charged in by the air remaining in the minute spaces of cell membrane, all of the said three pushing out the treatment liquid. The treatment liquid in the monitor vessel (b) goes through the similar process and flows out of the suction pipe 6 through a piece of wood 5 of same quality as the timber 11 to be treated. After being injected in for a specified period of time, the piece of wood 5 in the monitor vessel is taken out for section check to confirm how the treatment liquid is impregnated. In case it has not yet reached the impregnation target, the injection is carried on to the specified extent, and the section check of the piece of wood 5 is carried out in the following monitor vessel (b) to confirm impregnation and the operation of injecting treatment liquid is completed.
