PURPOSE:To use information channels fixedly by informing the additional terminal equipment of an information channel to be used and the kind of an information at the time when a call arrives, and switching and connecting it to the information channel of a multi-medium terminal equipment in order that the information-kind coincide between the two destinations. CONSTITUTION:The information-kind (for instance a sound signal V and picture signal I) and the information channels B1, B2 to be used are informed by means of an incoming call requesting signal SETUP transmitted from a digital integrated communication network 1 to the additional terminal equipment 5. A switching and connecting means 100 is provided in the equipment 5 to switch and connect to that the information-kind corresponds to the information channel to be used among the B1 and B2 that are fixedly used by the multi-medium terminal equipment 4. Thus two information channels on a subscriber's line 2 and that of the equipment 4 are switched and connected.
