PURPOSE:To prevent the fatigue in the same part of an image carrier to improve the durability by moving reciprocally the image carrier in the axial direction by a mechanism where the image carrier itself is moved reciprocally in the direction of a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:When an operating gear 9 is rotated in the clockwise direction of an arrow F, a lever base 14, a cam lever 13, and a gear shaft 15 formed integrally with a drum shaft 10 are turned in directions of arrows respectively. That is, the cam lever 13 is always energized in the direction of an arrow B by a tension spring 20 and follows up a cam 19, which is attached off the center of rotation of the shaft 10, to shake around a shaft 13a at an angle corresponding to the extent of eccentricity. Since a one-way clutch is press-fitted to the fitting part between the cam lever 13 and the gear shaft 15 of the lever base 14 with the same lock direction, the gear shaft 15 is turned in only the direction of an arrow C.
