PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substance useful as a fungicide, etc., in high yield, by dripping diketene to a mixture of monoethanolamine and benzofurazane-1- oxide. CONSTITUTION:Monoethanolamine and benzofurazane-1-oxide are added to an organic solvent (preferably methanol) and diketene is dripped to the solution while keeping the temperature of the reaction system at 30-60 deg.C. The reaction is continued for 1-8hr after adjusting the temperature of the system to 30-70 deg.C to obtain the titled substance. USE:Pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals and feed additives.
