发明名称 DISK DRIVING MECHANISM FOR FLOPPY DISK DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To position the spindle of the rotating mechanism for a disk with high accuracy by providing the 1st spring means which applies a force to an upper and a lower magnetic head during read/write operation and the 2nd spring means which applies a force to the upper and lower magnetic heads during the positioning of the disk. CONSTITUTION:A head arm 17 is provided with a spring 18 which presses the respective magnetic heads 14 against the disk 10. This spring 18 applies the force (tensile force) to the magnetic heads 14 so that the magnetic heads 14 contact the disk 10 with proper contacting force during read/write operation. The positioning leaf spring 19 is a leaf spring which increases the contacting pressure to the disk 10 by only a specific value for a magnetic head 14 on a side S1 during the positioning operation of the disk 10. When the disk 10 is positioned completely, the positioning leaf spring 19 leaves the head arm 17 on the side S1 with a pressure pin 24 which moves up and down. The additional pressure of the leaf spring 19 is pressure within a range based upon the extent of the stopping of the rotation of the disk 10 as an upper limit.
