PURPOSE:To miniaturize and lighten a hydraulic power unit by arranging a hydraulic pump and motor inside the internal cylinder of an accumulator and providing an oil tank inside the external cylinder of the accumulator in a body. CONSTITUTION:The hollow and cylindrical space surrounded by an external cylinder 1, an internal cylinder 2, and cylinder end plates 3a and 3b, a rubber- like elastic body 4 is arranged in such a way that the space is divided into a gas chamber 5 and oil chamber 6, for constituting an accumulator. A hydraulic pump 11 and motor 12 are provided inside the internal cylinder, and an oil tank 16 is also provided inside the external cylinder 1 in a body. This leads to the lightening of a hydraulic power unit along with the shortening of the maximum width of the hydraulic power unit, the elimination of such constituent members as a motor cover and others, and the miniaturizing of other constituent members.
