PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of work, by utilizing the deformation of a magnetic shielding plate elliptically curved by the tightening of screws, to position a camera tube and a sleeve relative to each other without using a positioning jig, to attach the tube to a main body by the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A deflection coil 11 wound on a bobbin 9, a magnetic shielding plate 10 and a sleeve 13 for attaching a camera tube 8 to the main body of a camera are disposed around the tube to constitute a deflection yoke for the tube. The head of a screw 12 for securing the magnetic shielding plate 10 and the U-shaped notch 13a of the sleeve 13 are fitted to each other to position the camera tube 8 in the axial direction thereof and the sleeve in the axial and circumferential directions thereof. The screws 12 are then tightened to elliptically deform the magnetic shielding plate 10 to put the outside circumferential surface of the plate and the inside circumferential surface of the sleeve 13 into contact with each other to secure them to each other by an adhesive 14. The sleeve 13 can thus be positioned without using a jig, to improve the efficiency of work.
