PURPOSE:To shorten the time for interruption of communication by stopping the retrieval of the information on the posture of a receiving antenna when the antenna is shielded and the receiving level falls below the stored receiving level by a prescribed value or above and immediately restarting the communica tion after the communicatable condition is restored. CONSTITUTION:An Az gyro 14 has degrees of freedom in an azimuth direction and an El gyro 16 in an elevation direction. The azimuth data and elevation data are applied via an I/O 12 to a CPU1, by which the information on the posture of the antenna is memorized. The information on the posture of the antenna is successively updated and the information in the antenna posture of the high receiving level is retrieved. The retrieved receiving level is updated and stored in the CPU1. The retrieval is stopped and the relative relation be tween the posture of the gyro and th posture of the antenna is maintained as it is when the receiving level falls below the stored receiving level by the prescribed value or above as the antenna is shielded during this time. The communication is restarted immediately after the shielding of the antenna is eliminated and the communicatable state is restored. The time for the interrup tion of the communication is this minimized.
