NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by by formula I (R<1> is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aromatic group or heterocyclic aromatic group; R<2> is H or alkyl; R<3> is acyl derived from triene higher fatty acid or pentaene higher fatty acid). EXAMPLE:1-(alpha-9, 12, 15-Octadecatrienoyloxy-alpha-methyl) methyl-5-fluorouracil. USE:A drug, a carcinostatic agent and an inhibitor of blood platelet aggregation having lower toxicity than 5-flurouracil (5-FU for short), strong carcinostatic action, strongly inhibitory action on blood platelet aggregation, useful as a preventive for thrombosis and diseases resulting from blood platelet aggregation such as cancer metastasis, etc., and effectively usable for preventing blood coagulation of collected blood. PREPARATION:5-FU is condensed with a compound shown by formula II in a solvent such as pyridine, etc., in the presence of a triethylamine, etc., to give a compound shown by formula I.
