PURPOSE:To obtain a display terminal device which can perform the simultaneous printing with connection of a non-procedure printer, by adding a control circuit which sends the space characters equivalent to a single character in place of an extension character ESC and the subsequent attribute information after receiving an ESC sequence. CONSTITUTION:An ESC sequence control part 2 receives an extension character ESC and then A, therefore outputs the L level of the 1st signal that inhibit the memory writing job to a gate G3 of a memory control part 3 through a NOR gate G1. The 1st signal is also sent to a gate G4 in a printer control part 6 to inhibit the transfer of the printer transfer enable signal received from a main control part 1. While the control part 2 sends the signal of an H level having the attribute to an attribute presence/absence in formation store part 4-1 of a picture memory 4 from an FF 2. This H-level signal is also sent to a gate G5 in the part 6 as the 2nd signal. The gate 5 consists of an inverter group and a NOR gate group and delivers the character data transferred from a main control part 1 in the form of codes showing a space character when the 2nd signal is received and then delivers said character data as it is if no 2nd signal is received respectively.
