PURPOSE:To expand stacking area by providing a line groove for receiving a linkage coupling a fixed plate with a movable plate on the fixed plate, folding the movable plate and opening it to part the movable plate from the fixed plate and make both plated flush with each other. CONSTITUTION:A fixed plate 23 is coupled with a movable plate 27 through linkage 21, 22 which are pivoted in the direction of arrow A to open and close both plates 23, 27. The fixed plate 23 is provided with line grooves 24, 25 for receiving the linkages 21, 22 when both plates 23, 27 are closed. When both plates 23, 27 are opened, the linkages 21, 22 are received in a recess formed of side walls 29-31 of the movable plate 27 to fit a fitting convex portion 32 of the movable plate 27 in a fitting concave portion 26 of the fixed plate 23. Thus, a sheet mounting area can be easily expanded by about two times. This is suitable for a paper discharge table of a copying machine or the like.
