PURPOSE:To permit measurement of the interferon (IFN)-gamma in a patient's blood by using a fixed phase, etc., contg. a monoclonal antibody, etc. which binds with polypeptides and does not bind with peptides, etc. as a measuring sample. CONSTITUTION:The monoclonal antibody which binds with the polypeptides I shown in the figure and binds with one of the peptides <Glu-Asp-Pro-Tyr-Val- Lys-Glu-Ala-Glu-Asn-Leu-Lys-Lys-Tyr-Phe-Asn-Ala-GlyII, and peptides Lys-Arg- Lys-Arg-Ser-Gln-Met-Leu-Phe-Arg-Gly-Arg-Arg-Ala-Ser-GlnIII is used for the measuring sample and further the same is subjected to a sandwich method to use the fixed phase contg. any of the polyclonal anti-interferon-gamma antibodies and a labeling body contg. the other. The reagent is thus used for measuring IFN-gamma in the blood.
