PURPOSE:To enable the hearing of an audio signal and the measurement of a radiowave arrival direction, by applying the outputs of loop antennae crossing at a right angle to equilibrium modulators and shifting the output of a non-directional antenna by 90 deg. in its phase and synthesizing these outputs. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of two loop antennae 1, 2 crossing at a right angle are respectively applied to equilibrium modulators 5, 6 and the output of a non-directional antenna 7 is applied to a 90 deg. phase shifter 8. The outputs of the modulators 5, 6 and the phase shifter 8 are synthesized by a synthesizer circuit 9 and the synthesized output is applied to a detector 11 through a high frequency amplifier 10 while the output of the detector 11 is applied to a speaker to enable the hearing of the audio signal contained in a receiving radiowave. The pulse of a clock pulse generator 12 is applied to an operational processing circuit 13 and rectangular wave signals (a), (b) are formed to be applied to the modulators 5, 6. The fundamental wave component in the output low frequency component of the detector 11 is extracted by a narrow- band filter 15 to be applied to the circuit 13 through an amplitude detector 16 and a phase detector 17 and the applying signal from the circuit 16 is adjusted so as to become min. to enable the noise suppressing type measurement of an azimuth and the arrival direction of the radiowave is displayed on an indicator 14.
