NEW MATERIAL:Compds. of formula I or III, wherein X is a group of formula III or IV; K is a residue of a (substd.) arom. amine; Y and Z are each H, an alkyl, an acylamino an alkoxy or a halogen; and R<1> and R<2> are each H, a 4-20 C (substd.) alkyl, an aryl or cyclohexyl. EXAMPLE:A compd. of formula V. USE:The titled dyes suitable for use in coloring molding such as fiber, films, sheets, etc., composed of org. high-molecular materials such as polyesters, polyamides, etc. of clear red to blue and god fastness. PREPARATION:A compd. of formula VI and an aniline derivative of formula VII are dissolved in a solvent such as acetic acid and reacted on a boiling water bath. After the reaction, the reaction mixture is cooled and water is added thereto. The precipitated crystal is recovered by filtration by means of suction and recrystallized from by means of suction and recrystallized from benzene to obtain a compd. of formula V as a dark purple crystal.
