PURPOSE:To attain the effective numerical control of a machine tool by storing first a series of key operations for operation as a working program and repeating these key operations in a single key operation. CONSTITUTION:When keys are operated on a control board 1 after a switch 6 is turned on, the key codes are sent to an input key analyzer 3 and also stored in a key code buffer memory 7. When the switch 6 is turned off, a key code converter 8 converts the key codes stored in the memory 7 into a format 10 by the input codes, etc. This format 10 is stored in a memory 2 in the form of a working program. This working program is analyzed by a working program device 4 and at the same time a machine controller 5 delivers the control data according to the analyzing result of the device 4. Thus it is possible to make a machine tool perform the same function with all key operations.
