PURPOSE:To contrive a smaller apparatus and better appearance, by providing a paper-containing part for containing a printing paper through a paper leading- out passage for leading out the paper to a printer after feeding out an end of the paper to the exterior, at a lower part of the interior of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A containing casing 16 is of a slidable type, and can be drawn out from a rear part of a main body 17 of a register. By drawing out the casing 16 and opening an openable cover 23, the casing 16 can be easily refilled with a printing paper 19. When a slip is issued under an initial setting condition where an end of the printing paper 19 is fed out to the exterior through a printing part 18, the paper 19 is gradually drawn out from a folded state, is gradually unfolded in a leading-out space part 24, is led to the printing part 18, where it is printed in a predetermined manner, and is sequentially fed out to the exterior on each printing. Accordingly, since the space at a bottom part of the interior of the register is effectively utilized, the register can be made compact, and the appearance thereof is enhanced.
