The purpose of the present invention is, in a filtration unit 1 provided with captured substance removing implement 20 rotatably supported inside a cylindrical filter element 2, to efficiently rotate the captured substance removing implement by uniformly passing a liquid through over the entire length of the filter element in the axial direction during backwashing and thereby exhibit a uniform filtration effect and a captured substance removing effect by backwashing. Provided is a filtration unit, comprising: a hollow cylindrical filter element 2, which is provided with a cylindrical filter medium wall 3 and which allows a fluid to flow between a fluid outlet/inlet 5 provided on at least one end part of the filter medium wall in the axial direction and the inside and outside of the filter medium wall in both directions; the captured substance removing implement 20, which is rotatably supported by a rotating shaft 10 parallel with the axial direction in the filter element and which makes slidable contact with the inside surface of the filter medium wall during rotation; and blades 30, which are disposed in the filter element on the fluid outlet/inlet side and which receive fluid and rotate integratedly with the captured substance removing implement. |
