PURPOSE:To remove an air gap substantially by mounting a pair of bodies of revolution synchronously rotated in the opposite directions while the two are partially brought into contact mutually at all times and each disposing a field piece to one body of revolution and generating piece to the other body of revolution. CONSTITUTION:A generator has a field-piece rotor 1 and a generating-piece rotor 2 as a pair of bodies of revolution synchronously rotated in the opposite direction while the two are partially brought into contact mutually at all times, and both rotors 1, 2 each have shafts 3, 4. When the field-piece rotor 1 and the generating-piece rotor 2 are synchronously turned respectively in the counterclockwise direction and the clockwise direction by being driven by a prime mover 8 through each gear 5-7, the changes of the quantities of the flux linkage of a magneto coil 17 at separate position of both rotors 1, 2 conduct one cycle by one revolution. Electromotive force corresponding to the changes of the quantities of flux is generated in the magneto coil 17 and outputted by the changes of the quantities of flux.
