PURPOSE:To reduce the whole size of a device by discharging capacitors on a printed board speedily. CONSTITUTION:A controller consists of a CPU 41 which controls the whole of a printed board inspection device, a memory 42 stored with a program for inspection, data for control, and conforming article data for inspection, a system bus 43 which connects the CPU 41 and memory 42 to a switching control card 44, a switching card 47 which controls the application of a voltage to the printed board 10 through inspection pins 9, and a switching control card 44 which controls the card 47 integrally. Then when the insulation resistance of the board is measured, the CPU 41 outputs a switch selection signal 46 through the card 44 to apply the voltage to the board 10 through the inspection pin 9 and a current flowing on the board 10 is inputted through the pin 9, so that the resistance value is measured. When the capacitors are discharged, a fire-side switch is turned off and then an all-sense signal 45 is outputted by the CPU 41 through the card 44 to turn on all sense switches, thereby discharging the board 10 through line resistances.
