PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in efficiency in making cutting and beveling performable only once setting a workpiece, by attaching each pair of pipe cutters and groove cutters slidably in a surface orthogonal with a link plate being supported free of rotation. CONSTITUTION:A link plate 1 at the center of a body is supported from four sides by plural rollers and driven clockwise or counterclockwise as far as 180 deg.. And, a column inserting hole 5 is installed in the shaft center, while a cruciform groove 6 interconnecting this hole 5 is installed in each radial direction, and a guide rail 7 consisting of a slide way is formed at both sides of this groove. Each pair of pipe cutter heads 8 and groove cutter heads 9 being opposed to each other are fitted in the groove 6 and the rail 7 and slidably installed in an axial direction within the same plane. When a column is inserted into the inserting hole 5 and clamped, these paired pipe cutter heads 8 are slidden each inward by a hydraulic system 10, thus the column is cut off. Next, a clamp mechanism is moved to some extent whereby a cutting surface is opened as far as the specified width, and an edge preparation head is slidden so that the cutting surface is subjected to edge preparation. Thus, since cutting and beveling both are performable at the same place, efficiency is improved.
