PURPOSE:To have a stationary member contacted with the inner surface of a hole of a work with pressure so as to fasten the work positively and firmly onto the inner surcumferential surface side by providing an operating member having a tapered section in the inside of the stationary member in a cylindrical form which can expands/contracts to the radial direction, whereby expanding the stationary member radially. CONSTITUTION:An inclined section 5a and a slit in the axial direction are provided to a stationary member 5. A tapered section 7b is provided to the top of an operating shaft (operating member) 7 so as to be stricken in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the member 5. When the hole of a work 1 is stricken in contact with the member 5, a piston 9a is lowered and then the member 7 is lowered by energized spring (8) force, the tapered section 7b is lowered for having the member 5 expanded whereby the work 1 is held. Elevation of the piston 9a releases said holding.
