PURPOSE:To attain data transmission between terminal equipments with less delay and to easily constitute a star form small sized data communication network (LAN) by providing plural detection/reception means, transmission means and control means. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the arrival of data is detected by detection/ reception circuits 10a-10d, detection signals 12a-12d are outputted to a control circuit 14 and reception data 13a-13d are outputted to a selection circuit 15. The circuit 14 controls the circuit 15 in response to the detection signal to select the data and to energize sending circuit control signals 16a-16d thereby driving all sending circuits 11a-11d connected to lines except the data arrival line into the active state. In case a data appears on a line, e.g., 5, the circuit 10a sends the signal 12a and the data 13a, the circuit 14 controls the circuit 15 to select the data 13a and raises the signals 16b-16d at the same time to activate the circuits 11b-11d. Thus, the data on the line 5 are sent to the other lines 6-8 to attain the constitution of the LAN easily and the inter- terminal data transmission with less delay.
