PURPOSE:To make at least a peripheral part of a metallic plating layer soft and brittle and to make self-generating action smooth by making such a part recrystalized texture. CONSTITUTION:At least a peripheral part of a metallic plating layer composed of selection of Co and Ni containing a trace of sulfur and their alloy in which super fine abrasive particles are dispersed on an electroformed thin blade grindstone is heat-treated at temperatures of 200 deg.C or more. As a result, since the metallic plating layer on this part becomes softer due to the effect of sulfur contained inside the plating layer and at the same time becomes brittle due to the formation of intermetallic compound of Ni-S on crystal grain boundary, wear of the metallic plating layer at the time of cutting is accelerating to improve its self-generating action.
