摘要 The utility model relates to a composition of a composite material for the production of sanitary, household, and decorative products and it finds an application in households, in particular for the production of sinks, bathtubs, countertops, and various decorative products. By using this composition, products are manufactured which have increased performance features, high resistance to mechanical and thermal influences. The main component in the composition of the composite material are silanized quartz particles, with a spherical shape and size of the particles in the fraction from 0.1 to 0.8 mm and composition of SiO2 98 %, Al2O3 0.7 %, Fe2O3 0.3 % and ТiO2 0.1 %, whereby the quartz particles have specific weight of 2.7 g/ml and hardness according to Mohs 7. In this implementation of the silanized quartz particles, their granules are covered with a specific glaze, similar to ceramics glaze, which provides them with good wetting and rheological properties, and increased hardness. Thanks to the silanization of the filler on the granules, excellent bonding between the organic and inorganic components in the mixture is achieved, as well as optimal rheology of the resin system. The next component, which is used as a binder, is unsaturated polyester resin, which is in a ratio from 18 to 28 % by weight of the total mass. Colorants are added to achieve diversity in color range, such as various inorganic and organic pigments, as well as rheological and thixotropic additives a ratio from 1.5 to 10 % by weight of the mixture. A chemical hardener is used for the polymerization of the mixture, from 1 to 2 % by weight of the total mass. A chemical thixotropic and rheological additive, from 0.5 to 2 % by weight of the total mass is added, in order to increase the rheological and thixotropic properties, and to regulate the viscosity of the final mixture.
