NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R<1>-R<4> are H or lower alkyl; X is 1-oxidothiomorpholino, dilower alkylamino or lower alkoxyl; Y is lower alkoxy, dilower alkylamino, lower alkylthio, cyano, 1- oxidothiomorpholino or 1-imidazolyl) or salt thereof. EXAMPLE:8-Methylthio-2-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidinylamino)-4-(-1-oxi dothiomor pholino)pyrido[5,4-d]pyrimidine. USE:An antiulcer agent and antithrombotic agent. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula III obtained by starting from a compound expressed by formula II is reacted with a 4- aminotetraalkylpiperidine compound expressed by formula IV, as necessary, in the presence of a base, e.g. sodium carbonate, in a solvent, e.g. DMF, etc., preferably at 50-150 deg.C.
